Innovative Energy Saving Extruder Introduced in Chinaplas2009

HARDEN INDUSTRIES introduced an innovative extruder, the Super Shear Plasticizing Extruder, in ChinaPlas2009 in Guangzhou, China. According to the inventor, Professor Qu Jinping from National Polymer Engineering Research Center, “The machine is composed of several melt pumps for conveying and plasticizing, which is completely different from the conventional screw type extruders. Since the thermo mechanical course can be greatly shortened, the energy consumption during the plasticizing and conveying processes can be reduced.” This striking product can save 30% of energy and it is very compact. The innovative extruder is suitable for a variety of materials, with high performance compares to conventional extruders.
Beside the innovative extruder exhibited at the show, Harden Industries demonstrated some new products including a two shaft shredder specially designed for woven sack recycling, plastic bottle shredder, and EPS compactors. Harden Industries is a Chinese manufacturer specialized in pipe extrusion line including innovative extruder series, recycling machines, lab extruder and desktop injection molding machine, and components for plastic machinery including screws/barrels and screen changers.
